Amy Carmody and several other yoga courses: yin, restorative and kids yoga.
Life can be busy and we rush around potentially ignoring signals from our body to slow down and listen. Gentle mindful movement can be a surprisingly powerful way to shift our thoughts and feelings-to tune into potential dissociations and to be in our bodies rather than in our minds. Mindfulness can sound trite or like the latest buzz word as external circumstances can be so all encompassing that paying attention to the body can seem like a drop in the ocean. Yet, mindfulness has been proven over and over again by researchers to have powerful effects.
