Hello, I’m Ailie: a BACP registered therapist offering counselling and psychotherapy in the North West of Edinburgh in person, via telephone and online. I also offer walk and talk therapy-using nature to support the therapeutic process and use Cramond Foreshore and the Lauriston Castle grounds for this purpose.
To me counselling and psychotherapy are an incredibly powerful way to find self acceptance and deeply explore a sense of self. I believe that talking therapy has the potential to benefit everyone no matter where they are at in life and I have personally found counselling and psychotherapy to be life changing. I know how huge it can feel when making your initial decision to make a change.
I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and childhood trauma. Through working with me we can explore your emotional landscape and find ways to bring in more joy into the every day and the here and now. I have experience and knowledge of working with neurodiverse clients and LGBTQ+ clients.
